A separate quote may be required for:
- Large coverage areas
- Full-panel or near-full-panel protection

Material and Finish
This product uses clear protection film intended for suitable clean, dry, smooth surfaces.
Gloss or matte finish options may be available depending on the project.
The film may remain visible at the edges, especially under certain lighting conditions or on darker surfaces. Final appearance can vary depending on:
- Surface color
- Lighting
- Film finish
- Panel shape
- Edge placement
- Installation quality
Review the Materials page for more information about clear protection film and material limitations.
What Protection Film Can and Cannot Do
Clear protection film may help reduce visible wear caused by routine rubbing or contact in selected areas.
It does not guarantee protection against:
- Impacts
- Deep scratches
- Paint chips
- Existing surface damage
- Sharp objects
- Improper installation
- Every type of abrasion or wear
Results depend on surface condition, preparation, placement, use, film choice, and installation quality.
Surface Compatibility
Apply only to clean, dry, smooth, stable surfaces.
Do not apply over:
- Damaged or peeling paint
- Loose coatings
- Rust
- Heavy texture
- Wax, oil, grease, or residue
- Rubber or silicone
- Fabric
- High-heat areas
- Vents
- Moving parts
- Certification or safety labels
Some paints, coatings, plastics, repainted panels, or treated surfaces may not be suitable for adhesive film.
If you are unsure about the surface, upload clear close-up photos before production.
Application Notes
Protection film installation requires careful positioning and surface preparation.
Before installation:
- Clean and dry the surface completely.
- Remove oil, wax, dust, polish, and residue.
- Test the film position before removing the liner.
- Confirm that the surface is smooth and stable.
- Review the approved proof and placement direction.
During installation:
- Align the film carefully.
- Apply slowly.
- Press bubbles toward the edges with a suitable squeegee or soft card.
- Avoid stretching or forcing the material over unsuitable curves.
- Check the edges before finishing.
Complex curves or large pieces may be more difficult to install and may require an experienced installer.
Removal and Existing Surfaces
Removal results depend on the adhesive age, installation, heat, surface coating, paint condition, and how long the film has been applied.
Do not apply film over damaged, peeling, weak, or recently repaired surfaces.
Removal may affect existing decals or unstable coatings. Use care and consider professional assistance when the surface condition is uncertain.
