How Custom Label Orders Work
- Choose the label pack and Pack Size that best fit your project.
- Enter your text, preferred color, size, and placement notes on the product page.
- Add shorter label lists in the artwork instructions field.
- Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, or ZIP files for longer lists or references.
- Complete your order.
- We review the submitted details and prepare a digital proof.
- Check spelling, contact details, label count, size, spacing, and layout.
- Production begins only after written proof approval by email.
SVG, EPS, AI, or additional files can be sent after ordering by replying to your order confirmation email with your order number.
Label Lists and Layouts
You may use different text on each label within the selected Pack Size.
Helpful uploaded files may include:
- Typed label lists

- Size or measurement notes
Long text may need to be shortened, divided across lines, or placed on a larger label.
Mixed sizes, multiple unrelated layouts, unusually long lists, or additional design work may require a separate quote or new order.
Names and Contact Information
Outdoor ID labels may include:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Equipment ID
- Category name
- Return information
Only include information that you are comfortable displaying publicly on the labeled equipment.
You are responsible for confirming that all names, numbers, and contact details are accurate before approving the proof.
Materials and Surfaces
These labels use vinyl intended for suitable clean, dry, smooth, stable surfaces.
Possible surfaces include:
- Painted metal drawers
- Smooth plastic bins
- Tool cabinets
- Hard storage cases
- Hard gear boxes
- Smooth equipment panels
- Selected bottles and containers
Avoid applying labels over:
- Fabric
- Rubber or silicone
- Heavy texture
- Oil, grease, wax, or residue
- Rust
- Loose or damaged coatings
- Frequently flexing surfaces
- High-heat areas
Upload a clear placement photo when you are unsure about the surface.
Washing and Care
Labels used on bottles or washable equipment are not guaranteed to be dishwasher safe.
Heat, steam, harsh cleaners, abrasion, prolonged soaking, and repeated machine washing may shorten label life.
Hand washing is generally gentler. Avoid scrubbing directly over label edges and allow the adhesive time to settle before washing.
Artwork and Permission
You must own or have permission to use any artwork, logo, text, name, or design you provide.
We do not reproduce protected or unauthorized content, including:
- Tool or outdoor-equipment brand logos
- Company or product logos
- Sports or event marks
- Copyrighted characters
- Celebrity images
- Artwork with unclear ownership or permission
We can create clean text-based labels and simple original layouts without copying protected graphics.
